Fit and Wear

42mm with a busy left half and clean right half, so it reads bold without being unreadable. Take it off before you swim. The gear plate is decorative, not a true open movement, and it's honest about that.

Most watches at this price play it safe. This one doesn't. The left half of the dial is an exposed decorative gear plate, the right half is a clean time-and-date display. A genuinely weird, genuinely fun piece of design you'd expect from a microbrand charging ten times more. Easiest gift in the lineup.
