Carnival Sport Skeleton Automatic Watch, Rubber Strap
A black skeleton automatic with an exposed-screw bezel and a black rubber/silicone strap. The open dial keeps the movement visible, and the strap gives the watch a sport-focused look rather than a dressy one.
Why It Stands Out
- The skeleton dial is open enough that you can watch the movement work, not a small cut-out pretending to show you something.
- Automatic mechanical movement, so it winds off your wrist and there is no battery to replace.
- The exposed screws on the bezel give the front some structure and stop an open dial from looking flimsy.
- Rubber/silicone strap rather than leather, which means sweat and rain do not ruin it.
- All black, so a mechanically busy dial ends up reading as one dark piece instead of a jumble of parts.

Fit and Wear
This is a sports watch and it wears like one. The rubber strap is the reason: it stays put when your wrist is warm, it takes a knock, and it needs no looking after. Black on black keeps the skeleton dial from shouting, so it goes with everyday clothes better than most open-dial watches manage. It is not a dress watch and will not pretend to be one under a cuff. We do not have a case diameter recorded for this reference, so ask us before ordering if exact sizing matters to you.
Colin's Take
Skeleton dials are where cheap watches go to look expensive, and most of them fail because there is nothing interesting behind the cut-out. This one is a genuine automatic and the opening is wide enough to follow the balance wheel, which is the only real reason to buy a skeleton. Buy it if you want the mechanical show without a dress watch's rules about where you can wear it. Skip it if you want to read the time in half a second, because open-work always costs you legibility and this one is no exception.
