Fit and Wear

40mm across and 7mm thick is a middle-of-the-road footprint with a very slim profile, so it looks right on most wrists and only reads large on genuinely small ones. The 22mm strap is wide for the case, which is what gives it the squared-off, architectural stance rather than a delicate one. The useful part here is 7mm. Most watches with a dial this graphic are thick enough that you notice the watch before you notice the person, and this one gets the shape in without the bulk. It is an alloy case with mineral glass at this price, so buy it as a look, not as an heirloom, and do not expect it to shrug off a knock against a doorframe. Silver 1 if you want people to ask about it. Black 1 if you want to wear it to work and not have the conversation.
