Fit and Wear

At 42mm across and 12mm thick this suits a wrist of roughly 6.5 to 8 inches. Read the dial and then ignore half of it. It prints 300m; the actual rating is 30 m, which covers rain and washing your hands and nothing beyond that. What you are buying is a self-winding mechanical movement in a diver-shaped case for under eighty dollars, on a striped nylon strap that is genuinely more interesting than the strap most watches ship on. That is a fair trade if you want a mechanical watch you are not precious about, and a bad one if you expected Swiss finishing. If the homage styling bothers you, skip it, because the homage is the design.
