The screwed-bezel fusion look — sunray dial, day-date, leather strap with a hidden push-button clasp — at one-hundredth the price of the watch it winks at.
Colin's Take
You've seen this design language on watches that cost as much as a used car: round case, exposed bezel screws, sunray dial, leather strap. This one nails the proportions at 42mm, adds a proper day-date with luminous hands, and closes with a push-button hidden clasp — a detail you almost never get under $100. Two dials: deep blue on silver, or full grey.
The Specs That Matter
- Movement: Quartz (battery — set it and forget it, 1–2 year battery life)
- Dial: 42mm round sunray with day-date window, luminous hands
- Case: Alloy with screwed bezel, 12mm thick, Hardlex crystal
- Strap: 25mm leather, push-button hidden clasp
- Water resistance: 3 BAR — rain and splash safe, no swimming
Why We Carry It
- The most "expensive-looking" watch in the lineup per dollar
- Push-button hidden clasp — a genuine luxury detail at $49
- Day-date + lume makes it a real daily driver
The Watch Nerd Stuff
This is a Gohuos-built quartz (model 8820) in the fusion/porthole genre — an affordable homage, not the Swiss original, and it's honest about that. 42mm alloy case, Hardlex crystal, 25mm leather band, 3 BAR rating (rain fine, swimming no).
