AWC TV Dial Quartz
A round dial in a square case — the retro-TV look that gets asked about, at a price you don't have to think about.
Colin's Take
This is the most design-forward watch in the AWC lineup. The round-in-square "TV dial" is a real watch-nerd shape — you usually see it on pieces that cost twenty times this — and the oversized hands make it readable at a glance. It wears compact at 30mm, comes on the same easy silicone strap as its siblings, and unlike most watches at this price it's actually rated for rain.
The Specs That Matter
- Movement: Quartz (battery — set it and forget it, 1–2 year battery life)
- Dial: 30mm round dial in a square case
- Case: Alloy, 9mm thin, glass crystal
- Strap: 22mm silicone, buckle clasp
- Water resistance: 3 BAR — rain and splash safe, no swimming
- Five colorways: all black, silver/black, green, blue, silver
Why We Carry It
- The TV-dial shape is genuinely distinctive — nobody else at $39 looks like this
- 9mm thin and 30mm compact: slides under any cuff, works on smaller wrists
- Actual 3 BAR water resistance — rare at this price point
The Watch Nerd Stuff
This is a TOMI-built quartz (model T022) in a squared alloy case with a round 30mm dial — the classic "TV screen" layout. Pointer display, 22mm silicone strap on a standard buckle, 3 BAR rating (fine in the rain, take it off to swim). It's an affordable fashion piece, not a Swiss heirloom, and it's honest about that.
