Fit and Wear

A skeleton dial is harder to read than a printed one, which is the trade. You get the movement instead. The blue Roman numerals do the legibility work and they are the reason this reads formal rather than novelty. 30 m means splashes and rain, nothing more. Treat it like the dress watch it is.

Most watches at this money print something on a dial and call it a day. This one throws the dial away. You see the bridges, the gears, the ruby jewel, all of it, every time you check the time. The blue numerals keep it from tipping into costume. It is the piece in this drop that people pick up and turn over.
