Quartz Chronograph Watch, 41.9mm
A multi-register chronograph with a tachymeter bezel print and luminous hands, on a nylon strap. Five colours at $39.99: black, white, gray, blue, and pink.
Why It Stands Out
- At $39.99 this is a lot of visual watch for the money. Three registers and a tachymeter scale is a busy dial, and busy is what people notice.
- The nylon strap is doing more work than people expect. It is what keeps a 41.9 mm chronograph from reading as try-hard.
- Luminous hands, so it is still readable in a dark restaurant or a parking garage.
- The date sits between 4 and 5 rather than cutting a hole in a marker, which keeps the dial layout tidy.
- Five colourways at the same price, so it works as a first watch, a gift, or the one you keep on nylon for weekends.
- Swap the nylon for leather and the same watch dresses up further than the price suggests.

Fit and Wear
41.9 mm in zinc alloy on nylon is a light setup, and nylon lets you cinch it exactly where you want it, so it suits a wide range of wrists. Black is the cleanest everyday choice. White gives the strongest contrast. Gray has the most understated field-watch feel. Blue and pink are there if you want the colour to be the point. It covers the sport-chronograph slot without pushing anyone toward a hundred-dollar watch.
Colin's Take
Buy this one knowing what it is. Forty dollars does not get you a chronograph you hand down, it gets you a chronograph you wear to the gym and the airport and do not think about. What makes it work is the nylon. Put this dial on a steel bracelet and it would look like it was pretending; on nylon it just looks like a weekend watch. Get black if it is your only one, gray if it is your third.
